Blog AWS Security Cloud Security

Skyhawk Security stands out in a competitive market! The organization is proud to announce that it has been named a finalist in the 2024 Cloud Security Awards program in four categories:

  • Cloud Security Innovator of the Year
  • Best Use of AI in a Cloud Security Solution
  • Best Security Compliance in Enterprise
  • Best Vulnerability Scanner/Assessment Solution

Now in its second year and with an expanded range of categories, The Cloud Security Awards program applauds the latest innovations in cloud-based security solutions. The program received entries from organizations worldwide, including North America, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia.

This year’s program included a popular new category – ‘Best Use of AI in a Cloud Security Solution’, in which Skyhawk Security is a finalist. Skyhawk’s Continuous Proactive Protection delivers an AI-based Autonomous Purple Team to help organizations take a proactive approach to cloud security for the very first time. It continuously analyzes customer cloud infrastructure, proactively runs attack simulations against it and uses the results to prepare verified detections, validated automated responses and remediation recommendations to ensure the cloud has the most up to date security defenses in place. This continuous protection process includes learning and automated adaptation of threat detection methods. This enables security teams to take a proactive and adaptive approach to their security strategy for the very first time.

Cloud intrusions are up 75% year-over-year. Threat actors are using AI to deliver better attacks faster and at greater scale and to create and execute novel attack types. Security teams need a comprehensive AI-based security platform that looks for malicious behaviors and intent. Skyhawk Synthesis Security Platform delivers enterprise-class cloud security. It delivers robust cloud security posture management, cloud infrastructure and entitlement management, as well as AI-driven cloud threat detection and response. The threat detection machine learning models are customized for your cloud to find anomalies specific to your cloud environment. These models are updated daily to eliminate drift and ensure that threat actors cannot reverse engineer them. Threat actors cannot outrun Skyhawk Security.

CEO of The Cloud Awards, James Williams, said: “We are very pleased to announce the finalists for the 2024 edition of The Cloud Security Awards. We continue to be incredibly impressed with the range and quality of the submissions each year, and 2024 has been no different. All our finalists are a credit to the cloud security industry.

“The finalists announced today have successfully cleared the second hurdle in the rounds of judging. They presented market-leading and innovative cloud-based products and solutions that help organizations and individuals stay secure.

“Our panel of judges have a tough job due to the quality of submissions we receive, but that is a testament to those that have made it to this stage. Skyhawk Security is a worthy finalist.”

Cloud Security Awards winners will be revealed on 7 May 2024.

The program will return in 2025 to continue recognizing excellence in cloud security. A broad spectrum of organizations entered the 2024 Cloud Security Awards program, with entries coming from North America, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe, and Asia.
